Despite not being on the City of Anacortes City Council’s meeting agendas for the past few weeks, Anacortes constituents have continuously invoked a proposed Skagit Habitat for Humanity affordable housing project during the meetings’ public comment periods.

“We continue to hear from our constituents, particularly in Ward 3, and certainly want to ensure that all citizens have the most accurate and timely information,” Mayor Matt Miller said at the city’s April 22 meeting.
