A 36-year-old Oak Harbor woman was charged Monday with controlled substance homicide for allegedly selling the drugs that caused the death of an Anacortes man.

According to court records, Anacortes police believe Krysten Nicholle Kimmel sold Riley Rayburn Beard the drugs that resulted in the 29-year-old’s death on April 17, 2023.
