Colleen was born in Anacortes, to Ray Judy and Mary Tasovac, in August of 1931. She attended schools in Anacortes and Seattle.
In March of 1948 she married the love of her life, Nolan Marshall.
Colleen worked for St. Mary Catholic Church as Director of Faith Formation for nearly twenty years. It was one of the passions in her life. Colleen’s other passions in life were her family, flowers, stuffed bears, and killer whales. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, when she could display her Victorian dollhouse with all its Christmas finery.

Jeremy Christopher Liddle, 25, of Anacortes, Washington, entered the glorious presence of his Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 16, 2013.
He was born on August 27, 1987, to Doug and Bev Liddle. Jeremy was raised in Anacortes and worked locally for many years at various jobs, including newspaper delivery, Food Pavilion, Radio Shack, San Juan Yachts, Dakota Creek, and Anthony’s.
Dean Carlton Jackson, 69, of Anacortes, WA passed away around February 8, 2013.
He was born in Seattle, WA on July 20, 1943, minutes before his twin brother, to Lindley Murray Jackson and Louise (Shinn) Jackson.
Carolyn Ann Cross, 102, formerly of Anacortes, Washington and current resident of Burlington, Washington, died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at San Juan Rehabilitation and Care Center in Anacortes.
She was born on March 16, 1910 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, the daughter of William and Martha (Dietz) Toogood. Carolyn was a resident of Skagit Valley for 85 years and was employed at the Econo-Wash Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Anacortes for 15 years before retiring and being a homemaker.
