Edward Russell Childs, 87, of Anacortes, Washington, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his home in Anacortes.
He was born on May 7, 1925, the son of Luchen and Minnie (Harkins) Childs.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Evans Funeral Chapel in Anacortes.

Alice “Betty” Dahl passed from this life on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Fidalgo Care Center in Anacortes with her daughter, Krista and her loving caregivers by her side. She was 87.
Betty was born May 16, 1925 in Spokane, WA, to Irene and Clifford Vawter. The family lived in Spokane until Betty was in her teens, when they moved to Seattle. Betty graduated from Roosevelt High School. While in high school, she met Halvor Dahl. They became high school sweethearts. On September 20, 1943, at the age of 18, she married Hal.
Thomas Wesley Petitclerc, age 80, passed away November 2, 2012 at his home in Soap Lake, WA. For those that knew Tom he will be dearly missed. There will never be another quite like “Bub.” He had the ability to captivate one person, or a whole room full of people with stories. To know him was to love him! We will miss you!
Geneva Carrell Newkumet, 92, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012.

Maisie E. Kazen was born May 28, 1919, in Alberta, Canada, to William and Lucy Scott. The family migrated to Washington when Maisie was an infant and settled in Snohomish. She graduated from Snohomish High School in 1938 and married Herman Kazen in 1939, also of Snohomish.
Reverend and Mrs. Kazen pastored churches in Auburn, Seattle and in Anacortes from 1963 until his death in 1974.
Worthy husband, father, and grandfather, Dean W. Emery, 86, of Anacortes, Washington died Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Fidalgo Care Center in Anacortes.
Born on September 8, 1926 in Monterey Park, California, he was the son of Dean and Sarah (Fages) Emery and an 11th Generation Californian.
